Amongst the tranquil ironbark woodlands of South-Eastern Australia, lives the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater. During the heat of January, mating pairs weave a cup-shaped nest of dried grass, sticks and bark, where the speckled blue eggs are laid. Both parents remain close to the nest, tentatively waiting for their precious chicks to hatch.
