My Country

Rayleen Pula Price is an Aboriginal artist from the Utopia region in Central Australia, belonging to the Anmatyerre language group and the daughter of artist Margaret Price Penangke. Her acrylic-on-canvas works draw on traditional Dreaming stories, particularly Bush Medicine, Bush Leaves, and My Country, which reflect women’s knowledge of country and the spiritual connection to land, ancestry, and culture. Using intricate dot and line techniques characteristic of Central Desert art, Rayleen’s paintings are both visually striking and culturally significant. Highly regarded within the Utopian art movement, her works are collected across Australia and increasingly sought after internationally for their authenticity and storytelling depth.
