Eugene lives and works in the Adelaide Hills town of Mt Barker, South Australia.

He works in both watercolour and oils, taking inspiration from the beautiful scenery around the Adelaide Hills. He is renowned for his country roads and vineyards scenes.

Eugene also likes to experiment with contemporary styles including a version of pointillism, reconstructed jigsaw paintings and some surrealist works.

Recent works have been inspired by visits to the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens, which have given Eugene plenty of wonderful material for his current series.
